WEEK 6

HANUM: The 5W1H Technique that are; What, Which, Where, When, Who and How are highly essential in order to identify the key resources required in all aspects. The key resources cover a wide range of aspect which includes the business capital, product or service, business facilities, negotiation skills, preparations of negotiation, negotiation process, negotiation strategies, negotiation tactics and lastly, communication skills. Under each aspect, I have come to know that there are core features that sometimes we tend to overlook. For instance, under the preparations of negotiation, ones way of dressing and even the way we walk plays a major role in securing a successful negotiation with the other party. Hence it is important for us to pay major attention to every little details.


FARAH: During this week’s lesson, I learnt about the 5W1H questions.  This includes who, what, which, why, where, when, who and how. All these questions are effective in finding out the key components which are business capital, product or service, business failities, negotiation skills, preparations of negotiations, negotation process, negotiation strategies, negotation tactics and lastly, communication skills. These components are absolutely essential in entreprenuering. To secure deals in business we must be capable in all those components, for example we must be able to have good communication skills, as dealings will require plenty of dicussions and bargaining with suppliers. Miscommunication could be the downfall of a business; this is why entreprenuers must encompass excellent communication skills.

AFIQAH: Before starting a business, there is a technique than we can use as a guide to identify resources that are required. The technique, which is 5W1H technique includes what are resources required, which resources are vital, when to acquire it, who are the suppliers and how to acquire it. It is required in identifying the business capital such as how much capital is required to start a business and also helps us in knowing what are the business facilities needed. Negotiation skills is very substantial in business. The negotiation process involves preparations, planning, strategies, tactics and communication skills. The preparations of it includes the dressing, appearance, style of walking, gestures, body language, body odour and eye contact. These aspects will give the first impression of your customer towards you. Hence, make sure all of us are well prepared and has a high confidence level in order to gain our customers’ trusts and interest.

HASNA: Today we learn the technique to identify required resources. We can use 5W1H technique to obtain the source. The first is business capital. Question based on this subject can help in the form of finance, workforce, raw materials and equipment. Besides that, question about product or service such as; ‘how to obtain source of supplied?’ It is important to know what type of product offered for sale according to categories, types and price list. Not just that, we also have to know about business facilities, basic requirement for initial starting of business operations and basic documents required. This skill is really important as a communications kill.

FATIN: We learned about skills to start a business today. First of all, before starting a business we have to identify resources required. To identify this, we have to use 5W1H technique (what, where, which, why, who, how). Resources required for us to identify are business capital, product or service, business location, business facilities, negotiation skills, preparation of negotiations, negotiation process, and others. In order to negotiate, we have to have communication skills so that the message will be clear and the people who are involved in the negotiations will get the message.

IRDINA:This week, I learnt about the resources required in a business, the techniques of effective negotiation and communication skills. In order to identify the resources, 5W1H technique can be used to get a grasp of how to start a business. I was aware that skills I negotiating and communicating plays an important role when it comes to business. Appearance, gestures, eye contacts and odour are part of a positive impression towards the customers or the other party. Attitudes in negotiating are a crucial aspect to give attention for beginning and ending a negotiation well with an encouraging remark. Tactics and techniques of getting an agreement should be planned out properly to avoid a negative notion towards the other party. There are more of this that I was able to take into account during this week of lecture.


LUBNA: In this class, I learnt the skills to start a business. I learnt about the 5W1H technique that is What, Where, Who, When, Which and How. I also know that effective negotiation and communication skills are vital in business. Our appearance, body language, eye contacts, gestures and odour are also important in creating a positive first impression. To add, I learnt some negotiation tactics and strategies that are very advantageous.
